How to use this Pomodoro timer
Pick a rhythm: Classic (25/5), Focus (50/10) or Deep work (90/20). Press Start and work on a single task until the alarm rings. During the break, stand up, drink water, look away from the screen: that is what recharges your attention.
After four Pomodoros the timer starts a 15-minute long break. You can also set your own durations: 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour…
Why 25 minutes?
The Pomodoro Technique, created by Francesco Cirillo, splits work into short, time-boxed blocks. Knowing a break is coming makes it easier to start and to ignore distractions. It is perfect for studying, writing, coding or reading.
Even better together
With PomoMates you can also create a room and share the link: your friends follow exactly the same Pomodoro timer in real time. Great for remote group study sessions.
